It is located close to the Animal Kingdom and has its own set of animals on property that you can observe from special savanna rooms or around the property. They also have animal programs for you to participate in as well as dining with an animal specialist. This resort also features some spectacular dining options for you to enjoy a taste of Africa. The resort is very family friendly with plenty of entertainment options for the kids to enjoy. The rooms are large enough to include families of all sizes and different bed options, including bunk beds for the kids. While it is a deluxe, it is one of the more popular and affordable resorts.

Cons: Since the resort is close to Animal Kingdom, it is further away from the other parks making for a longer bus ride. The resort is quite large to accommodate the animals and therefore could mean a longer walk to the amenities depending on where your room is located. While the resort is large, the standard rooms are smaller than a typical deluxe resort. For those with allergies to animals, you may want to reconsider this property. Many guests with these types of allergies report having a more difficult time staying at this resort.
