Walt Disney World Resort and Celebrations seem to go hand in hand. From the very moment you step foot on property, you feel like celebrating…and the cast of Walt Disney World strive to make every bit of your stay a magical celebration.Whether you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, engagement, honeymoon, or straight A’s perhaps, you will be acknowledged and recognized for your celebration. Below, we have listed out some great ways to celebrate your special occasion and get recognized for it: • Pick up your special occasion button at any of the following locations: any theme park ticket booth or any Guest Relations locations throughout all 4 of the Disney Parks. • Order a special occasion cake or dessert from Magic Kingdom Cakes. This company will work with you to order different cakes that range in size from 6” to 10” Rounds, or Tiered custom cakes. These can be ordered 48 hours in advance from the date of your reservation, and delivered to your table during your meal. Cost will be added to your bill. Email magickingdomcakes@disney.com • Wear matching or personalized shirts to help cast members recognize you so they can congratulate you on your celebration. Word has it that if you wear matching shirts to celebrate a big event, you very well could be asked by a cast member on Main Street, in the Magic Kingdom, to be the family chosen as Grand Marshal of the day for the 3pm parade down Main Street. • If you are staying online at Disney Resort hotel, you can arrange for a special phone call or Birthday greeting from Mickey and his friends. • Also, another celebration resource if staying on property for additional cost, you can pre-order in-room celebration packages by calling the Disney Florist Dream Maker at (407) 827-3505.
