Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in EPCOT
On a recent weekend trip that I took with my mother, I decided to make an advanced dining reservation for Via Napoli. This sit down restaurant is located towards the back of the Italy Pavilion. My mother had never been and I wanted to buy her dinner to celebrate her birthday.
Via Napoli is known for it’s pizza but it also offers many hearty pasta dishes and good salads. Here is a quote from the Disney website, “the thin-crust pizzas are made with fresh mozzarella cheese, San Marzano tomatoes and real Caputo flour imported from Southern Italy. Water for the dough is even sourced from a spring similar to Italy's Campania region. Pizzas are then cooked in wood-burning ovens named after the 3 active volcanoes in Italy—Mount Etna, Mount Vesuvius and Stromboli. To ensure every detail is perfect, famed restaurateur Nick Valenti spent time in Naples studying the art of dough, crust, sauce and oven temperatures at the famous pizzerias Da Michele and Trianon before creating the menu at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria.”
The ovens are visible to you as you walk inside to the left. The opening of the ovens are the faces of the three volcanos.
There is also a banquet table that can accommodate very large parties: Via Napoli is open for lunch from 11:30am to 3:30pm and dinner from 4:15pm to 9pm. Reservation can be made up to 180 days before arrival.
Prices range from $15 to $30 per adult.

At the time of making the Advanced Dining Reservation for two we didn’t seem to have trouble getting one for the day and time we wanted, but with bigger parties I would recommend making them as soon as you can. We ended up adding an extra guest at the last minute but it didn’t seem to cause a fuss and we got seated on time. The staff and waiters are all from Italy and so that makes the experience feel even more authentic. We had some sangria with our pizza and it was delish!
Here is the pizza menu:
Mom and I had a half Funghi and half Piccante pizza! I love the thin and the crispy crust. Our friend had a personal sized pizza as seen below.
