DISNEYLAND FASTPASSES First, let me tell you that Disney FASTPASSES are FREE!!!! With that said, what is a Disneyland FASTPASS? A FASTPASS is a paper ticket given to you at FASTPASS distribution kiosks around certain attractions and shows at Disneyland Park and California Adventure. So, when entering the parks, look for the FASTPASS Distribution sign near the entrance of an attraction. Check the Return Time displayed on this sign. If the return time works for you, insert your admission ticket or Annual Passport into the FASTPASS machine. The machine will generate a FASTPASS ticket printed with your return time. Return to the FASTPASS Return entrance at your Return Time, show your FASTPASS ticket to the Cast Member and enjoy the attraction with a minimal wait. Your entire group must have a FASTPASS for the attraction for everyone to be let through. You may only have 1 FASTPASS at a time. Another FASTPASS will NOT be given until the time printed on your last FASTPASS ticket. This is a huge difference to the Disney World FASTPASS service. As you can see, you can’t plan your FASTPASSES 60 days in advance. You also can’t have more than one at a time. Your FASTPASS also expires at the end of your time window printed on your pass.

The rides that offer FASTPASS in Disneyland Park are as follows: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones Adventure, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Star Tours, and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy.

The rides with FASTPASS in California Adventure Park are as follows: California Screamin’, Goofy’s Sky School, Grizzly River Run, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, Radiator Springs Racers, Soarin’ Around the World, and Toy Story Midway Mania!

The only shows with FASTPASS availability are World of Color at California Adventure and Fantasmic! at Disneyland Park. You can hold these FASTPASSES and still be able to get others throughout the day. Of course, all FASTPASSES are subject to availability and will often run out early on busy days. So, plan your day out accordingly and get there early to get a FASTPASS for the ride you can’t miss and then jump in line and ride, ride, ride as many other attractions as possible until your time comes up. Don’t forget the time printed on your FASTPASS that tells you when you can get your next FASTPASS. This is a great way to save time and get you quickly onto your favorite rides.
