Beaches & Cream Soda Shop Lounge: Martha’s Vineyard Room Service: yes Pools: 4 Stormalong Bay is a beachfront water park that features 3 acres of aquatic fun. It offers a sand bottom pool perfect for the little ones to splash, swim and build sand castles, a pirate ship slide, lazy river and the Shipwreck pool with a miniature water slide. It also has 3 leisure pools including the Tidal pool located in the garden area near Crescent Lake at the Beach Club. The Admiral pool is located in the garden area near Yacht Club and the Dunes Cove pool is located at the Beach Club Villas. All pools are shared with the Yacht Club. Pros: This deluxe resort is a fan favorite with Disney guests for many reasons, but the most popular is their incredible pool. It is the BEST pool on property hands down. In fact, no other pool on property has cast members checking magic bands before entering the pool to ensure only registered guests at the resort are able to enjoy it. The second reason is the location. It is situated between Epcot and Hollywood Studios and a short walk or boat ride away. Depending on where you are located on property, you could see Illuminations fireworks at night or catch a concert coming from the World Showcase during the day. Across the water is the Boardwalk resort with plenty of dinner and entertainment options. Since this is a deluxe resort it has a variety of amenities such as room service, table service options including a character meal, lounges and quick service dining including the well-known Beaches & Cream soda shop, home of the kitchen sink sundae. There are many wonderful options for additional entertainment including fishing, boat rentals, pirate cruises for kids, volleyball and campfire activities to name a few. The resort also features a spa, kids club and additional guest services. With the Yacht Club resort right next door, the amenities are shared so there is more options to enjoy. With all the Beach Club has to offer, it is no wonder families enjoy this colorful and fun beachy atmosphere.

Cons:

While the resort does offer quick service dining, it is very small at this resort. There is a small food area within the gift shop and a handful of tables inside to sit and eat. There is plenty of seating outside at the pool but if you are seeking relief from the Florida sun, you will need to eat in your room or stake out a table. Deluxe resorts, as nice as they are, do not fit every budget. If a quiet resort is something you are after, the Yacht club is a better choice. This family friendly resort is brewing with activity. They also share the bus service to the MK and AK with Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club and the Boardwalk resort. They are the fourth stop so it is possible the bus could be full before it reaches your stop.
