Kiddie Pool: yes located in Stormalong bay Splash & Play area: no Playground: no Arcade: Lafferty Place Arcade near Stormalong Bay Dog Friendly: no YC2BC1 Pros: Since this resort is a sister resort to the Beach Club, it shares the amenities. That means the very cool Stormalong Bay pool is also available to guests staying here. The Yacht club offers a more refined elegance of New England country clubs. For adults who want to enjoy the location and amenities without all the crowds and added noise of families staying at the Beach Club, the Yacht Club is a better alternative. The resort tends to be quieter and attract and older crowd. It is also a favorite location for Disney weddings and business conferences as it has convention center facilities. The resort also boasts the popular Yachtsman Steakhouse which is a favorite among Disney guests. The location is ideal, located between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Compared to the Beach Club it also has less walking to the pool and marina.

Cons: While the resort is beautiful, the dark wood and colors are more pleasing to adults. Young kids may enjoy the colorful and bright decor at the Beach Club more. While it is a deluxe property, it does share bus service to the MK and AK with Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club and the Boardwalk resort. It is the third stop on the bus route so that means the bus could be full by the time it reaches you and added wait time to get to the park. As with any deluxe resort, the price is higher than value and moderates. While the Beach and Yacht Club can be some of the more affordable selections among the deluxe resorts, it still is out of many families budgets.
