The rooms feature 2 Queen Beds and 1 Day Bed, 2 Queen Beds, 1 King Bed and 1 Day Bed or 1 King Bed and 1 Double-Size Sleeper Sofa. The resort also offers 1 and 2 bedroom suites and club level rooms. Views of the lagoon, garden or Magic Kingdom are sure to please. Dining: 3 including: Grand Floridian Café, Gasparilla Island Grill & Beaches Pool Bar & Grill. Table Service Dining: 4 including: 1900 Park Faire character meals, Citricos, Narcoossee’s, Victoria & Alberts which is AAA 5 diamond rated. Lounge: yes Citricos Lounge and Mizner’s Lounge. Room Service: yes Pools: 2 including: the Beach pool overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon in a tropical and peaceful setting that including waterfalls and a 181 foot slide. The Courtyard pool is a zero entry leisure pool conveniently located behind the main building. Kiddie Pool: no Splash & Play area: Yes located near the Beach pool. Pros: The biggest advantage to staying at the Grand Floridian is its great location. It is conveniently located on the monorail with close proximity to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. The resort feels luxurious and refined and the rooms are romantic and sophisticated with fantastic views of the castle from their balconies. If your budget allows it, the resort also has turret rooms which are larger and often have the best views of the castle and Seven Seas Lagoon. Foodies will enjoy the AAA, 5 diamond restaurant, Victoria and Alberts. This is a hard to get reservation as it is smaller and quieter than most signature dining at Disney. The upscale restaurant does require you to dress up and has a wonderful selection of food options as well as a special chefs table Another wonderful place worth dining at which offers casual, yet upscale, seafood on the water is called Narcossees. Character dining can be found at 1900 Park Faire and many other wonderful dining options. The resort also hosts tea parties and has a spa as well. The beauty of the resort makes it a popular destination for Disney wedding receptions at one of their several convention rooms. In addition, it features a variety of other activities on the water as well as a good spot to watch the Electric Water Pageant.

Cons: The resort can feel a bit stuffy to some because of the high end decor. It also shares buses with the other MK deluxe resorts which mean possible longer wait times to catch a bus. It is the last stop on the resort Monorail. The biggest disadvantage is the price to stay at this resort. It is the most expensive resort to stay at in a standard room with prices running up to $830 a night during the holiday season.
