This moderate resort offers a larger size room with larger beds than the value resorts. Pirate fans young and old will enjoy the themed pirate rooms. In addition to the food court, they offer a table service dining restaurant featuring the flavors of the Caribbean. The resort also has many other wonderful recreation activities including fishing, bike rentals, volleyball, pirate cruises and more. Some of these activities do require a separate fee. This resort has been selected to be a part of the Disney skyliner transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Once this is complete, it will offer additional transportation options to the parks. The resort location is also central to many attractions including Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs.

Cons: It is one of the largest moderate resorts. There are bus stops at each of the villages within the resort. This can result in a full bus if you are located at the far end of the resort, and additional time waiting for the next bus during busy periods. Due to the large size of the resort, you could potentially be walking more than at the other resorts to reach the food court and main pool. Currently this resort is undergoing MAJOR construction to fix these issues. Check in, dining, and shopping are located in pop up locations throughout the resort while they work on a new, expanded central area. Noise could be a factor if you have little ones napping at the resort during the day.
